We were delighted to welcome families from across the county to Cockermouth School to discover what makes our school such a special place to learn, grow and thrive.
The evening was packed with exciting, interactive activities, giving prospective students and their families a taste of the wide range of opportunities available at Cockermouth School. From attempting to ‘blow a hurricane’ in Geography and testing their French counting skills in Languages, to creating their own screen-printed artwork to take home in Art, there was something to capture everyone’s interest.
One of the many highlights was watching Mr Smith launch rockets high into the sky, alongside dozens of other engaging demonstrations and hands-on activities taking place throughout the school.
It was wonderful to see so many families exploring our facilities, chatting with staff and students, and experiencing first-hand the enthusiasm, creativity and opportunities that make Cockermouth School such a vibrant community.
A huge thank you to all our staff and students who helped make the evening such a memorable success. We hope our visiting families enjoyed discovering all that Cockermouth School has to offer and left feeling excited about the next stage of their children’s educational journey.
