Year 10 students recently enjoyed an enriching trip to Spain, combining language learning with cultural experiences and plenty of fun activities.
After settling into their accommodation, students explored the local areas of La Cala and Rincón, took part in team-building activities, and enjoyed beach sports and group meals.
A highlight of the visit was a series of Spanish classes and workshops at Escuela La Playa, where students developed their language skills before visiting the Cueva del Tesoro and spending more time by the beach.
The group also visited the coastal town of Nerja and the picturesque village of Frigiliana, as well as enjoying time at AquaVelis water park. An evening flamenco show and workshop gave students a taste of traditional Spanish culture.
Further experiences included a visit to a local secondary school and a tour of Málaga, where students explored the historic centre, visited the bustling market, enjoyed tapas, and discovered the Alcazaba fortress.
Students were a credit to the school throughout, embracing every opportunity and returning home with lasting memories of a fantastic trip.
